2016 is off to a great start. *insert thumbs up emoji* Weather is starting to feel like winter too. So I guess all is good.
Everyone did this before 2015 ended, but I’m doing this now. Yep, you know what it is, me reflecting on my 2015 year.
Like I was telling my friends when we were out together for New Years Eve, I didn’t think I had anything accomplished in 2015 until I started looking through my photos on Instagram. That accomplishment was moving out. Funny enough, I was thinking that I didn’t accomplished anything will sitting in my own apartment.
I had a rough time during the summer of 2015 where nothing was going right in my life. The one motivation was moving out and being independent. I knew that moving out meant a lot of sacrifices in the lifestyle that I had. Not that I was spending money like there was no tomorrow. It was that I wouldn’t be able to travel often/whenever I wanted. I couldn’t go out and have a $40 dinner. I couldn’t shop whenever I wanted. I had to be careful with my spending. I’m not gonna lie and say that I didn’t struggle the first 2 months on my own – I did.
